The Vacaville Visitors Bureau (a non-profit organization) just released their first official publication. I was please to find out that they choose one of my photos for the cover (Maia's Happy New Year's photo) and another inside (Carissa & Maia at the opening of the Nut Tree Park Plaza licking lollipops). You can get a free copy by visiting their office which is located in the Nut Tree shopping center (E. Monte Vista Ave.) across from Border's book store and next a sport clothing shop.
Won 1st place for the Children's Portrait Category.
Here is the beautiful model in the "Happy New Year's" photo. She is wearing a traditional Vietnamese dress from Vietnam. We are part Vietnamese too! I'm half and she's a quarter. 
Won 1st place for the Dixon Fair photo category. My daughter won Best of Show for her Barbie Collection, "Meet Me At The Ball". She was so happy to win the big purple ribbon!
Won 2nd place for this Still Life of a dripping faucet.
Won 4th place for this Still Life of a knot in a fence.
Beautiful newborn. It was a great experience capturing the natural beauty of this precious baby who was only 2 weeks old. All photos were taken in the comfort of her parents' home. Thank you Fadelli family for letting me move things around your home for all of the shots.
Here I am with Vacaville's Mayor, Steve Hardy. I was presented with 2 awards, one for Honorable Mention and the other for Overall Winner. My winning photos from this year and last year can be viewed in City Hall. The city has been doing this contest for the past 20 years so there is a very nice photo art collection to browse through.
What a wonderful day for Nadia, her parents, family, and friends! It's such a relief and awesome moment to have your adoption finalized. I feel honored that I was chosen to document such time in your life.
