I wanted to do this shot without a blanket to just show skin but little Mila didn't like it. This cloth swaddle was a nice alternative because of the peacock feather pattern. It added to the nest look.

Eye of the Tiger

My favorite photo I took at the L.A. Arboretum. This photo is natural believe it or not. My first shot had little effect. I moved my camera to a different angle and Voilà, I got this amazing shot. I did nothing to her eyes. No photoshop! The palm leaves created an incredible reflection in her eyes and shadow on her face.

Me & Grandma

There's a building in the center of the L.A. Arboretum where many scenes from the show "Fantasy Island" were filmed. The building has great leading lines and fun mirrors. Image has vertical lines, horizontal lines, and plaid.

Black Crowned Night Heron

He posed gracefully as I took this shot. I love the palm trees reflected in the water. This was taken at the L.A. Arboretum. This place is loaded with beautiful tall palms and lush wildlife. I loved going here as a kid and still love it as an adult.
